The hotplate is the ambassador for our devices, whether rectangular, square or round!
Our hotplates are designed for continuous operation in an aggressively chemical environment. They are totally inert-to acid solutions and the corrosive atmosphere of fume hoods (PFA coating, no metal component exposed to the atmosphere, controller unit can be removed from hood, power cord inserted in a Teflon sheath). They do not emit any particles that could contaminate the samples and laboratory, and they can be installed in dust-free laboratories and clean rooms. The safe controllers (3 safety fuses in total) allow it to be used intensively.
Because of their special graphite construction, the temperature of our hotplates is perfect across their whole surface and even at the rims. The temperature is stable and accurately controlled at +/- 2°.
The maximum operating temperature, 250°C, is generally sufficient for the mineralization, concentration and evaporation operations of most of the mineral acids used: HCl, HNO3, HBr, HF, HCLO4. Temperature controller sold separately (see the “Controllers” section).

Side Thermal Protection : Polycarbonate or stainless steel frame coated with PFA or PTFE (the most commonly used) which considerably reduces radiation from the side.
